Grand Lake Annual Boat Show in Grove Hosted by the Grand Lake Associasion
12th Annual Grand Lake Boat & Sport Show
Boats of all makes, shapes and sizes—recreational vehicles big and small—dock builders, boat lift manufacturers, boutique clothing, ATV’s, scooters, marine electronics, tackle, water and land toys and just about anything else you can imagine will all be found in one place—the Grove Civic Center at the 12th Grand Lake Boat and Sport Show. This increasingly popular event takes place on March 13, 14 and 15 with hours to suit everyone.
The Grand Lake show is more than just the typical boat show. Fun is the other big component of this event. For 2009 the parking lot will be turned into a “mini-lake” for remote control boats surrounded by an RC truck and car race track. Some of the RC boats travel up to 40 mph and the cars and trucks will be spinning their wheels around the race track at speeds upwards of 50 mph. If weather permits, the RC planes will be demonstrating aerial acrobatics.
Hourly prize drawings, musical entertainment, local dance groups and much more has been planned to add to the fun while viewing the latest in water craft and recreational vehicles.
Exhibitors include Arrowhead Boat Sales, Backyard Wildlife Habitat, Boat Floaters, Cell-Tec, Charlotte’s Purses, Coldwell Banker-Shangri La Realty, Emu Only, Good Watercraft, Grand Lake Boat Sales, Grand Lake Coast Guard Unit, Grand Lake Sail & Power Squadron, Grand Outdoors, GRDA, Honey Creek Landing Marina, Howard’s Bait & Tackle, Indian Hills Marina, Jack’s RC Hobby Shop, Jerry‘s Dock, La Isla Enterprises, Lake Shore Trams, Modular Concrete Docks, Monkey Island Marine Electronics, Nichols Marine, Oklahoma Boat Lifts, Ruesch Motor Company, Santa’s Old Broads, Serenity Resort, Signs by Sikorski, Spring Valley Ranch, and Dave’s Claremore RV’s.
Admission is just $3.00 for adults, kids 16 and under is free. All outside activities are free. Show hours are Friday from noon until 5:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
